Sokoto Police Command to Commence Shooting Exercise

Sokoto State Police Command in a press statement made available to newsmen Sokoto warned residents in Kware town and its environs that, the command will commence shooting range exercises between Monday, the 13 to Friday, 18 June 2022.

The exercise will commence between 6 am to 6 pm at the Army shooting range ground along Kware Illelah road, Sokoto state.

The Command’s spokesperson, DSP Sanusi Abubakar in a statement said the Police are using this medium to notify all and sundry to stay clear and not panic with the sound of guns.

The command specifically urged residents of Gidan Yamma, Mashedi, and Tsire villages all along Kware Illela road to remain calm during the period.

While reiterating the command’s commitment to sustaining peace in the state, “we call on members of the general public to cooperate with the police command for the successful conduct of the exercise.”
