The governorship and House of Assembly panels commenced sitting in Dutse, Jigawa state capital with a pledge to be fair to all the aspirants.

Inaugurating the panel at the state headquarters of the party, the APC Chairman, Aminu Sani Gumel challenged the panel members to be fair to all aspirants in discharging their duties.

The three-man Governorship petition panel has Alhaji Haruna Musa as the Chairman while the State Assembly has Prof. Muhammad Lawal as Chairman.

The panels, which have less than 24- hours to complete their assignments, re-iterated their resolves to ensure justice to all petitioners in respect of the two elections that took place between Thursday and Friday.

The two Chairmen, therefore, urged any aspirants that have complaints on the conduct of the party primaries elections to submit them in writing to the committees for onward submissions to the party national headquarters for appropriate action.

The exercise has created tension in the party as many aspirants who were not satisfied with conduct of the primaries are believed to be preparing to dump the party as a result of the outcome of the primaries.
