Kano Pillars football club trashed Heartland football club of Owerri by 3-1 at MKO Abiola Stadium Abuja on Sunday in the ongoing 2021/2022 Nigeria Professional football league matchday 29.

Auwalu Ali Malam, Ifeanyi Kelvin Eze, and Mark Daniel scored the three goals for Pillars Fc with an assistance from Rabi’u Ali and Fahad Usman.

Addressing the journalists shortly after the match, Pillars Fc technical adviser, Salisu Yusuf thanked God and commended his players for playing well in the encounter.

He said the team is gradually gathering momentum on the philosophy of the technical Crew.

The coach said they would remain focused in their remaining matches in order to save the club from relegation.
