2023: ‘I will continue from where Bagudu stopped if elected as governor’ – Kaura Gwandu

The Former President of the Nigeria Union of Teachers (NUT) and also All Progressive Congress (APC) Governorship Aspirant Dr. Nasiru Idris (Kaura Gwandu) has promised that if elected as the Governor of Kebbi State his administration will continue with the good works of Governor Atiku Bagudu.

He stated this on Saturday through his campaign coordinator, Alhaji Kabiru Sani Giant while addressing journalists in Birnin Kebbi; “Kaura has designed his blueprint toward promoting the state economy,” he added.

He emphasized that his administration will continue with Governor Atiku Bagudu’s legacy most especially in Agriculture, Youth empowerment, and Internal Generating Revenue.

He explained further that his going to operate an open-door policy in order to foster good governance and ensure success.

“You see, with my experience in Civil Service and as a teacher am going to empower the civil servants and promote Educational sectors, am also going to make infrastructure as my major priority across the geo-political zone of the State,” he said.

He commented on the present administration by providing the dividend of democracy and making peace in the State.

“Bagudu who is also the Chairman of APC Governor’s forum has achieved a lot in terms of developmental projects and political movement such as uniting the party at the state and national levels,” he added.
