The Emir of Bichi Alhaji Nasir Ado Bayero has enjoyed the people of his Emirate to ensure that they register and collect their voter cards.
The Emir made the call while reading his Sallah message at his palace to the people of the Emirate shortly after the Eid-el-Fitr prayer on Monday.
Alhaji Nasir Ado Bayero spoke at length on the significance of the voters’ card which he said is the tool that would give them the opportunity to exercise their rights in the next year’s general election.
I enjoy you to be sure that you participate fully in the ongoing voters’ card registration by the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, so as you are not left behind when it comes to discharging civic responsibility, the Emir said.
Alhaji Nasir Ado Bayero then urged state and federal governments as well to do in the society to intensify efforts in promoting the welfare of the people in the country considering the current hardship that people are facing.
He also urged the government to provide available fertilizer to the farmers in the country for the successful farming season this year.
The Emir then appeal to the farmers in the Emirate to always seek the advice of Agriculture extension workers in order to have more new ideas for the success of their farming system.
Alhaji Nasir Ado Bayero commended the people of the emirate for their support and prayers towards eradicating covid-19 in the country and prayed to Almighty Allah to maintain peace, and unity and promote socio-economic development of his subjects and entire Nigeria.
The Emir extends his Sallah congratulatory message to the state governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, the People of Bichi Emirate, and the entire Muslim ummah as well as the successful completion of this year’s Ramadan fasting.
