Kano State Primary Health Care Management Board has issued Commendation Letters to 2 staff for their outstanding performance on the current Covid-19 Mass Scale-up vaccination exercise while 3 staff were served with warning letters for poor performance on the exercise.
In his remarks on behalf of the Executive Secretary of the Board, Dr. Tijjani Hussaini the Director of Administration and Finance, Alhaji Suleiman Tanimu while presenting the Commendation letters to affected staff said: “The Board observed with diligence how the staff is performing in the collection and preserving with care the Covid-19 vaccines which exhibited a higher sense of professionalism and dedication in the discharge of their duties.”
The Director then on behalf of the Executive Secretary of the Board, congratulated them and enjoined them to maintain the tempo for the success of the vaccination exercise.
While the five other staff were issued warning letters for their poor performance on proper records on COVID-19 vaccination daily logistics data which hinder the progress of the entire program.
A letter made available to the Public Relations Officer of the Board warned the staff and advised them to ensure compliance by submitting the data needed in due course to avoid been penalize in accordance with the enshrined rules governing the exercise.
The 2 members of staff that were issued with the commendation letters are from Kano Municipal and Kumbotso, while the 5 with warning letters were from Kunchi, Gaya, Albasu, Danbatta, and Tarauni Local Governments.
