Katsina State High Court has indicated interest to collaborate with the Katsina State Chapter of Sports Writers Association of Nigeria (SWAN) to organize a football competition among the judiciary Staff in order to improve their physical fitness.
The State Chief Judge, Justice Musa Danladi Abubakar disclosed this when he received officials of Katsina SWAN on a courtesy visit to his office, Wednesday.
Justice Abubakar who spoke on the importance of participating in sporting exercises by the Judiciary staff noted that doing so will no doubt assist them to be more physically fit.
The State Chief Judge who assured his support to the activities of Katsina SWAN urged them to improve in other angles of sports in their reportage.
Earlier in his remark, Katsina SWAN Chairman, Nasir Sani Gide said they were at the chief judge’s office to introduce members and officials of the association and to seek his support and cooperation for Katsina SWAN to achieve its objectives.
Gide similarly commended Chief Justice for his support to the state para soccer team who has won different trophies both national and international.
