NPFL: LMC Relocates Kano Pillars Matches to Katsina

The League Management Company (LMC) has relocated Kano Pillars football club matches from Ahmadu Bello Stadium Kaduna to Muhammad Dikko Stadium in Katsina State.

A statement by the Media Officer of Kano Pillars Football Club, Rilwanu Idris Malikawa said the club received the directive from the LMC on Thursday evening that its matches have been relocated to Katsina with immediate effect.

Malikawa said the announcement from the LMC and signed by the Chief Operating Officer, Alhaji Salihu Abubakar said the directive was for some security challenges and encroachment into the playing field during your match with Rivers United football Club on matchday 16 at Kaduna and despite that the match was arranged as closed-door.  

According to the announcement, henceforth Kano Pillars football club would play their home matches game at the Muhammad Dikko Stadium Katsina starting from match day seventeen against Nasarawa United football club on Sunday.

Kano Pillars Media Officer thanked the Kaduna State football Association, Spots Writers Association of Nigeria, SWAN Kaduna, and the entire football family of Kaduna state for their support and cooperation during their playing time at Ahmadu Bello Stadium Kaduna.

He also expressed confidence that they would get maximum support and cooperation from the government and good people of Katsina State for the success of the club throughout their stay in Katsina.
