Dakkada Fc Beat Kano Pillars at Home 1 – 0

Former Nigeria Champions Kano Pillars football club (sai masu gida) gallantly lost 1-0 in the hand of Dakkada football club today Saturday at Nest of Champions Stadium Uyo in matchday eleven in the ongoing 2021/2022 Npfl season.

Sai masu gida dominated the first half of the game with a lot of chances and two chances of one-on-one with the home team goalkeeper but failed to convert any one of the chances.

The game went half-time goalless draw.

Kano Pillars football club have themselves to blame for the failure to utilize their chances at eighty-one minutes of play when substitute Bashir takes a rebound from Kano Pillars football club goalkeeper and put the ball in the back of the net.

In his post-match conference reaction, the Chief Coach of Kano Pillars Fc, Ibrahim A. Musa said his side played very well and they were supposed to finish the job in the early minutes of the game but they failed to do so due to poor finishing from their side.

Coach Ibrahim said the match was a good game with a good display from both sides but Dakkada football club utilized their opportunity and won the game.

“We suppose to finish the game in the first half considering the chances we got and is not good for a team like pillars Fc the way we are going this season,” Coach Ibrahim emphasized.

He said is not late for the team to go back and correct the mistakes they are doing when they come to the finishing area.

The Chief Coach said they lose the match because of human errors from some department in his team which he said they never expect because they are in Uyo to collect the maximum points.

He explained that it is necessary for the team to tighten their belts to go and get away from winning at least three in order to go back to the track.

On his part, Ezekiel Tamara an influential midfielder of sai masu gida said with the way things are going this Season they put themselves under unnecessary pressure and there is a need for them to be focused and address the situation.

Ezekiel Tamara said club-like Kano Pillars football club should not be supposed to be in the position they are in the table so far.
