Kano State Primary Health Care Management Board, KSPHCMB, has honored three departments for their outstanding performance in 2021.
In his remark, while declaring a one-day meeting on the review of the Board 2021 activities held at Babale Suite, the Executive Secretary of the Board, Dr. Tijjani Hussaini said, the departments were honored based on their performance in the last year’s activities under their various department.
Dr. Hussaini further stated that henceforth, the board will focus attention on individuals’ performance with a view to honoring them as motivation.
He then highlighted the aim of the meeting which he said ‘is aim at reviewing the performance of the board activities in 2021 and to identify challenges that affect performance and development strategies for improvement.
He urged staff of the board to redouble their efforts in the discharge of their duties with a view to moving the board forward.
In his remark on behalf of the recipient of the award, the Director of Disease Control and Epidemiology, Dr. Imama Wada Bello thanked the Board for the honor accorded to the departments and assured that they will continue to justify the confidence reposed on them by moving the board forward.
The three departments honored include the Department of Disease Control as the best performing department, the department of pharmaceutical service for good performance and the department of administration and finance for demonstrating consistent improvement all in the year 2021.
