Super Eagle’s captain, Ahmed Musa has reacted to the elimination of the Super Eagles from the AFCON 2021.
In a post shared on his Instagram page, Musa pointed out that he and his teammates gave their 100% but it wasn’t good enough.
The Nigerian footballers crashed out of the football tournament last Sunday, January 23, after losing 1-0 to Tunisia.
Musa’s post read;
”In life, things wouldn’t always go the way we want them to and that’s something we have to accept however hard it is. We gave our 100% and unfortunately that wasn’t good enough to take us through.
We won’t give up; we will do better next time. Thanks for all your support and prayers. You make it all worthwhile.”
