Christmas: Bagudu Calls for Peaceful Coexistence, Unity, Patriotism and Prayers

Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu has felicitate with Christians in the State as they celebrate this year’s Christmas.

The Chairman Progressives Governors ‘Forum,​ called on all Nigerians to use the Christmas festive period to continue to live peacefully with each other irrespective of any religious, political or ethnic differences.

The governor also called on the citizens to hold the unity of the country sacrosanct and non-negotiable.

Bagudu said in his Christmas and New Year message that Kebbi State and the Country at large stood to benefit more, as well as prosper with absolute unity.

“With unity, Nigeria will continue to grow from strength to strength. This means that the country would be at par with its contemporaries.

“Our diversity and population should be an advantage, more opportunities, and not problems.”

The Chairman of the APC Governors’ Forum further stressed the need for Nigerians to exhibit more patriotism.

“There is the need for the citizens to also exhibit more love and patriotism in favour of the nation.

“This is absolutely crucial if Nigeria must fully evenly develop and for the leaders to be able to facilitate its growth,” he added.

He therefore thanked the people of the state for their support, loyalty and trust for his administration to continue to take Kebbi State to greater height of prosperity, peace and tranquility.

Adding that​ “The festivities of Christmas and New Year are joyous moments for merriment, reflections and the exchange of love.”
