The National Space Research Development Agency (NASRDA) has conferred its most prestigious merit award ‘Space Ambassador’ on Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu, Chairman Progressives Governors’ Forum on Thursday in Abuja.
The award according to the Agency, is a life time award that exists even after expiration of his tenure as the Chief executive of Kebbi State.
The conferment of the award by NASRDA on Governor Abubakar Atiku Bagudu was in recognition of his good leadership qualities and support to space program.
It is also worthy to mention that Kebbi State Governor, Senator Abubakar Atiku Bagudu is the first Governor in Nigeria to have ever received and decorated with the honor.
NASRDA is a parastatal under Federal Ministry of Science and Technology with its headquarters in Abuja.
