Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje of Kano state commiserates with the families of Alhaji Ja’afar Ahmad Gwarzo, Sarkin Tsaftar Kano, who was also Senior Special Assistant to the Governor on Sanitation, over his death.
This was contained in a condolence statement, Wednesday, by Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Abba Anwar.
According to the statement, Governor Ganduje commiserates also with the Kano Emirate over Gwarzo’s demise, lamenting that, “The death of Alhaji Ja’afar Ahmad Gwarzo is a great loss to all of us.
“We felt the great loss when we received the information about the demise of this illustrious son of our state, Kano. His death leaves behind a vacuum in his area.”
Governor Ganduje said: “On behalf of the government and good people of Kano state, I am extending our heartfelt condolence to his family and Kano Emirate for this great loss. May Allah forgive all his shortcomings and accept his good deeds, ameen.”
According to him, the deceased helped immensely towards Polio eradication in the state, appreciating that, “Ja’afar Gwarzo was an icon when it comes to public health and environmental sanitation in the state.”
“During his reign as Sarkin Tsaftar Kano he was in every nook and cranny of Kano promoting public health and personal hygiene for our people. Now he has answered the Divine Call of our Creator, Almighty Allah. May Allah bless his gentle soul,” he prayed.
