Hon Aminu Sani Gumel emerged the new All Progressive Congress (APC) Chairman Jigawa state during the party state Congress held at Malam Aminu Kano Triangle Dutse.
Hon Aminu and other party state executives emerged through consensus and affirmed by the delegates during the congress.
Speaking at the congress the chairman Congress committee sent from the party national headquarter Alhaji Haruna Musa said, all the leader were emerged through consensus in according to the party constitution and they remained duly elected by the congress affirmation.

He also commended party leaders, stakeholders and members for exhibiting maturity, obedience self respect which made the congress peaceful and successful.
In his acceptance speeches, the newly elected chairman Hon Aminu Sani Gumel promised to work for the unity, progress and success of the party in the election and other political matters in the nation.
He thanks Governor Badaru, party leaders, stakeholders and members for trusting him to led the party and promised not let them down.
Those elected during the congress include Nasiru Dahiru Jahun – State Deputy Chairman, Mannir Uba Gumel – Vice Chairman North, Isah Baba Buji – Vice Chairman Central and Abdullahi Ango – Vice Chairman East.
Muhammad Umar Dikuma – State Secretary Sa’adu Babandi – Assistant Secretary, Umar Musa Kwalgwai – State Treasurer, Alhaji Sarki Kafinta – Assistant Treasurer, Bashir A Kundi – Publicity Secretary, Ado Aliyu- Asst Publicity Secretary, Hajiya Abu S Fawa – Organizing Secretary, Garba Muhammad- Asst Org Sec and Ibrahim Yau Gagarawa- Youth Leader, Dayyaba Shuabu- Women Leader and Indo Ado- Asst women Leader among others.
