The Kano State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to the success of Routine Immunization in the state.
The Commissioner of Health, Dr. Aminu Ibrahim Tsanyawa, made this known at ASAA Pyramid Hotel, Kaduna, while declaring open a two-day meeting for the development of the board’s work plan for the 2021 Routine Immunization.
He explained that the state government has committed a lot of resources to the health sector, it will therefore not relent on its efforts to ensure all necessary support to the sector.
Dr. Tsanyawa used the opportunity to commend the State Primary Health Care Management Board for its commitment and efforts in transforming the Primary Health Sector to its present position.
Earlier, in his remarks, the Executive Secretary, Kano State Primary Health Care Management Board, Dr. Tijjani Hussain, who represented the Director, Administration and Finance, Alhaji Suleiman Tanimu, said the meeting was aimed at developing a comprehensive work plan for the conduct of Routine Immunization.
Dr. Hussain then commended the present administration for the special attention being given to primary health care in the state.
