The Chairman, People Democratic Party (PDP) Jigawa state chapter, Hon Babandi Ibrahim Gumel has lost his wife Hajiya Talatu Babandi at the age 49.
Hajiya Talatu died Monday morning at Gumel General Hospital after a protracted illness.
She is survived by her husband, Hon Babandi Gumel, four children and many relatives. She has since been buried in according to the Islamic rites.
In his condolence message, Jigawa state Governor, Alhaji Muhammad Badaru Abubakar described the death as a great loss to the family and the state in general.
He prays to Almighty God to grant her eternal rest and give the family fortitude to bear the loss.
