Jigawa @ 30: JGSG Declares Friday 27th August Work-Free Day

Jigawa State Government has declared Friday, the 27th of August, 2021 as work-free day in commemoration of the 30th Anniversary of the creation of Jigawa State.

A statement signed, Thursday, by the State Head of the Civil Service, Alhaji Hussaini Ali Kila and made available to newsmen by the spokesperson, Office of the Head of the Civil Service, Ismaila Ibrahim Dutse quoted the Head of Service while making the declaration on behalf of Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar congratulating the Civil Servants and entire people on the occasion.

According to the statement, the people of the state have been enjoyed to pray for the State and the Country at large while celebrating the day.

It added that “accordingly, it is hope and highly envisaged that all Public Servants and the entire people of the State will utilize the one-day break in thanking the Almighty Allah for conducive atmosphere, peaceful co-existence and various developmental projects so far recorded in the State.”
