Premier League side Crystal Palace has activated an £8million release clause in Michael Olise’s contract and he is now closing in on a move to Selhurst Park.
The highly-rated French-Nigerian midfielder has signed a four-year deal with the Eagles and an official announcement is imminent, according to get reading.
Olise, who is still eligible to play for Nigeria, has been attracting interest from many clubs in the Premier League after a fantastic season in the Skybet Championship.
The 19-year-old scored seven times and registered 12 assists in 44 league games for Reading last season.
Olise was on the standby list for Nigeria’s squad for the 2021 Africa Cup of Nations against Benin and Lesotho in March.
