Ganduje’s convoy attacked, three policemen injured

Governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje’s convoy came under attack by gunmen on Tuesday night while returning to Kano from Zamfara.

Stallion Times gathered that bandits operating along Zamfara, Katsina, and Kano Road, around Shema attacked the governors convoy on Wednesday.

A source said security operatives in the convoy engaged the suspected bandit in a gun battle that led to three policemen sustaining bullet wounds.

At the time of filling this report all efforts to reach the governor’s spokesperson, Abba Anwar failed.
