A political group associated to president Muhammad Buhari known as “Baba for All” has donated food items to over 5,400 less privilege families in Jigawa state.
Speaking at the flagging-off for the distribution of the iteams held at Dutse local government Secretariat, Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar commended the group for initiating such laudable humanitarian intervention.
He added that, distributing food iteams to the needy in this holy month of Ramadan will certainly assist the beneficiaries to feed their families at ease.
He also charges the beneficiaries to reciprocate the gesture by praying Almighty Allah to Guide and Support president Muhammad Buhari to take Nigeria to promise land and bring to an end of the insecurity, social and economic crisis militating the country.
While making his remarks, the leader of “Baba for All” and member representing Ringim/ Taura Federal Constituency Jigawa state, Hon Ado Sani Kiri said, a total of 6,750 bags of rice and maize were distributed to beneficiaries.
He explained that, the donation is aimed at complimenting series of social intervention made by federal government to ease the difficulties face by common man as a result of covid-19 pandemic and the subsequent economic hardship in the country.
The group promise to continue working with grass root and policy makers in promoting policies and programs of president Muhammad Buhari’s administration for peace, unity and development of the nation.
