Alhaji Ahmad Abubakar, 62, elder brother to Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa state is reported dead after a protracted illness.
According to a family source, the decease died in the late evening hours of Sunday, 11th March, 2021 at a private clinic in Kano state.
The deceased who was a retired custom officer and also a business man is survived by one wife, 9 children and many grand children.
The family source added that, the decease has since been buried according to Islamic rites
Sympathizers have been trooping to the resident of Gov. Badaru in Kano and that of the decease for condolences.
