Veteran actor and Broadcaster Sadiq Daba is dead.
Mr. Daba popularly known as Bitrus for his role in the NTA drama series Cock Crow at Dawn, had been ill with leukemia and prostate cancer for years before his death.
His death was confirmed by filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan with whom he worked recently on the 2020 motion picture, Citation.
According to Afolayan, he spoke with his wife and son who confirmed his passing to him on Wednesday, March 3rd.
Daba worked with the Nigerian Television Authority (NTA) for over three decades before he retired.
In 2015, Sadi Daba won Africa Movie Academy Award for Best Actor for his role as “Inspector Waziri” in the film “October 1.”
