IGP Deploys Police Troops to Kebbi State

The Inspector General of Police, IGP Muhammad Abubakar Adamu NPM, mni has deployed Police Mobile Force, Counter Terrorism Unit and Police Special Forces to Kebbi state.

This was contained in a signed press statement made available to Stallion Times by the Police Public Relation Officer, DSP Nafiu Abubakar, Kebbi State Command.

According to the statement, the personnel have since arrived Kebbi and deployed to some local government areas, with a view to complementing the existing security architecture to curtail the infiltration of bandits who usually cross over, commit havoc in the state and escape back to their hideouts in neighboring states.

In the statement, the Kebbi State Commissioner of Police, CP Adeleke Adeyinka mni enjoy members of all voluntary security organizations in the state to cooperate with the state government, Kebbi State Police Command and other security agencies in the maintenance of law and order with a view to rid the state of all forms of crime and criminalities.

The Command is also calling on all law-abiding citizens to always avail Police and other security agencies with relevant information that will lead to the detection and prevention of crimes in the state.
