Kano Pillars Fc trashed Jigawa Golden Stars Fc 2-0 in the match day eight in the on going 2020/2021 Npfl season, Wednesday, at Ahmadu Bello Stadium Kaduna.
Central defender of the Pillar Fc aka “sai masu gida” Ndasi Dennis scored all the two goals in the eleven and seventeen minutes of play with assistance from Victor Dennis and Auwalu Ali Malam.
Kano Pillars Fc capitalized on the Jigawa Golden Stars Fc defenders misses through corner kicks and scored their goals to complete the job.
In his post match reaction, Kano Pillars Fc technical Adviser, Emmanuel Lionel Soccia thump up his players for utilizing the opportunity they got and finished the game in the early minutes.
Emmanuel Lionel said in the first half, his players played very well but in the second half they were down due to fatigue because of the long journey from Uyo where they played against Akwa United Fc in the round seven, last Saturday.
I’m happy for the win and always my target to any match is to win, coach Lionel said.
He said the match against Ifeanyi Ubah Fc on Sunday in the match day nine in Nnewi is not a small match but with Calibre of players he has on the ground, he is confidence he will get something there.
The sports writers that watched the match voted Ndasi Dennis as man of the match unanimously.
They presented the award of “man of the match” to him courtesy of Kano SWAN, the Chairman Kaduna state chapter, Mr. Benjamin Isiah congratulated him and his club for the victory.
Responding shortly after he received the award, Ndasi Dennis thanked Almighty Allah for the victory and dedicated the awards to his mates, technical crew and entire family of “sai masu gida.”
