 Kano pillars Fc lost 1-0 to Akwa United Fc in a match day seven, Saturday, at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium Uyo in the ongoing 2020/2021 Npfl season.

Effiong gave the home side the lead in the 28 minutes of play and all efforts made by the Kano Pillars Fc (sai masu gida) to equalized the goal prove abortive and the match ended 1-0 in favour of Akwa United Fc.

Shortly after the match, the technical Adviser of Kano Pillars Fc, Emmanuel Lionel Soccia cried about the fatigue that worried his players during the match.

He said its not easy to played on Wednesday and spent two days on the road and then played a match today (Saturday).

There is need for the organisers of the league to consider the hardship teams are facing on the road in playing three games in a week, Coach Emmanuel said.

He said his players did well in the game and got lots of chances but not converted.

Our attention now has been shifted to match day eight against Jigawa Golden Stars on Wednesday at Ahmadu Bello stadium, Kaduna where we are targeting the maximum points.

Speaking on behalf of the players of the sai masu gida, Achibi Ewenike said he is confidence they would win the league at the end of the season and said today’s loss would not kill their morals.

He said they are in Uyo to win but, man proposes, God disposes but the He knows the best.

The sai masu gida would leave Uyo tomorrow, Sunday to Kaduna ahead of match day eight against Jigawa Golden Stars Fc on Wednesday at Ahmadu Bello stadium Kaduna.
