The Nigeria Governors Forum (NGF) has donated N50 million to Sokoto State Government and victims of the recent Sokoto Central Market inferno.
In a press statement made available to newsmen by the special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Muhammad Bello, said Governor Kayode Fayemi of Ekiti State announced the donation at the scene of the fire disaster, Tuesday.
Governor Fayemi said the NGF would pursue the pledge made by the federal government on behalf of the state and victims of the disaster.
The Governor was accompanied by the Chairman of the Northern States Governors Forum, Rt. Honourable Simon Bako Lalong and Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa State.
