Kebbi State Governor Atiku Bagudu has today, 18 November, 2020 announced the appointment of Alhaji Sefiyanu Garba Bena as the new Head of Civil Service (HoS) for the State in acting capacity.
The Secretary to the State Government Babale Umar Yauri while briefing newsmen in his office stated that based on the Constitution of the Federal Republic of Nigeria as Amended, has empowered the Governor to make such appointments from among Permanent Secretaries.
The SSG reiterated that the new Head of Service is to be in acting capacity pending his confirmation or appointment as a substantive HoS.
He described Bena as an accomplished civil Servant who has performed his duties diligently at various Ministries, Agencies and Parastaltals of the State where he has served as he wished him success in his new appointment.
Until his new appointment Alhaji Sefiyanu Garba Bena was Permanent Secretary office of the SSG and later Permanent Secretsry Security at the Cabinet Office.
