Governor Muhammad Badaru Abubakar of Jigawa state says for Nigeria to attained the dream of its funding father’s, every body must own and work in the development process.
The Governor made the remarks in an interview with journalist in his office, he maintained that, even though the country is better now than sixty years back but much is expected from every good citizen for the country to excel in the global community.
“The progress made by the country in the last sixty years in terms of quality life improvement is appreciable and there is all cause to celebrate the journey so far”, he added.
According to him, the country’s education sector, public healthcare service delivery, wealth creation, infrastructure, social and economic have recorded significant development.
“But in every journey of development there are challenges and for Nigeria to overcomes the hurdles and progress to the expectation every body must support national cohesion, unity, peace, hard work and public transference”.
“We have only Nigeria, we must work for its progress together, no any nation on earth developed without working for by its citizens”.
Governor Badaru urged all Nigerians to use the celebration period for sober reflection and prepare for the next level.
